The Mothers' Center of Greater Toledo offers the opportunity for mothers to meet and find support & friendship. Our weekly meetings provide a non-judgmental forum where mothers can share the challenges and joys of parenting; and also provide much needed relief from the isolation that many mothers may experience.
There are three cycles per year - fall, winter and spring. Each cycle consists of 11 meetings. There are no formal meetings during the summer months, but there is an active summer calendar, including free park playdates, and a summer Boredom Busters guide to keep you and your little ones busy.
During most meetings, guest speakers and experts from within the community address topics such as health, education, discipline, finances and child development as well as a wide variety of other relevant topics. Topics have included: Yoga and Relaxation, Discipline for Your Children, Nutrition, Interior Design, Investing, Art with Your Children, Dental Care for Your Child, and many more. Meetings are held once a week on Thursday mornings, beginning at 9:45 am and concluding at 11:15 am at the McCord Road Christian Church: 4765 N. McCord Road, Sylvania, Ohio (map). (Please note that the Mothers' Center of Greater Toledo is not affiliated with this or any other church).
PLUS...Our center provides wonderful, developmentally appropriate childcare during all meetings for members and their children.
